Parks has just advised the snowmobile trails will be open this weekend. Due to soft conditions they are unbable to groom the trails, but they will be open with some restrictions.

Students
[October 29, 2008]Students should check outwww.thattextbooksite.com. It allows them to buy and sell their textbooks directly to other students. This means you recieve more when selling and pay less when buying!
Weather Radio
[October 17, 2008]Environment Canada, The falcon Lake Hotel and Prairie-Sky Wireless are excited to announce that Falcon Lake and the surrounding area now have a weather radio. It's free to access can be accessed through any marine radio or weather radio. The system will provide current weather, forcasts and alerts to the area.
The South Whitshell is one of Manitoba's greatest provincial parks. With so much to see and do, it will keep you busy for days.
Try some of the many popular activities such as biking, hiking, fishing, camping, sailing and canoeing during the summer. Winter time activities include ice fishing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing and skiing.
